The knife overall is a great value! I have not put it through any heavy use at this time, but it came sharp and if it is D2, I have a good feeling idea how it will react to use. I took one star of for receiving the wrong knife - twice, but each time I received almost immediate response and they responded by sending replacement without delay. If it had gimping on the flipper and they had skeletonized the liners, it would have been perfect. (I knew these issues before I ordered so not really disappointed. Only took of one star for having to go through the extra work to get the correct knife. As a side note - I got two other knivesof decent quality for “free”. I gave one to my daughter who loves it.
I was genuinely surprised. It seems to built very well.
So far, what I can tell is that this is a good quality knife for the money. The workmanship and materials seem to be very good. There are a couple options I believe would elevate the overall quality of the knife however. Adding an option to carry left handed would be nice, I understand adding this option to move the pocket clip to the other side of the knife would add cost to accomodate for the additional milling but I believe it would be worth it. Additionally, I would like to see the pocket clip seated into the G10 Scale and not just sit on top of it. I would also like to see the pocket clip screws recessed into the pocket clip and not sit proud of the clip. Again, I understand these changes would add cost to the knife, however I believe these are the only shortcomings I can see with this model. With that being said, even with how this knife is currently setup, this is a great knife. The handle ergonomics on this model are very nice, I have large hands and this knife handle fits great in my hand with no hotspots. The flipper tab works great to deploy the blade as does the cut out in the blade. The lockup is secure with no side to side blade movement and the linerlock is smooth with no sticking to the blade when it is disengaged. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a good quality edc budget folder.
Very nice knife!
